When should I start my wedding dress journey?

Every bride is different and this is very personal to you but we would advise looking for your dress around 12-18 months in advance. We recommend measuring you for your dress 8 months prior to your wedding. This does not however mean that we need this amount of time to order your gown in.

All our alterations and fittings are carried out in-house so 8 months allows time for the full amount of fittings and alterations required to make your dress perfect.

Don’t worry if you have less than 6 months as we are able to get certain styles in much quicker than this, so we are always able to help. We do have dresses available off the peg or we can order an urgent dress if required in a shorter time.  

What sizes do we stock?

Our sample dresses range from an 8 to a 28 and we cater to all shapes and sizes as with our fittings package our dresses are made to order in your size and proportions and fitted accordingly in house.

What price range are your dresses?

Full price dresses range from £1200 up to £2000 but we do have an entire room of dresses under £1000 so we can work to most budgets.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes we recommend booking an appointment (you can use our online booking service) or call the store on 0151 355 6904. First appointments usually last for 90 minutes.

How many guests can I bring and what do I need for my first appointment?

We are a small boutique so, although we don’t have a limit, we recommend no more than 4 guests attending your appointment. If you do plan to bring more please let us know in advance.

For your first appointment you just need yourself and if possible, nude seam free knickers. However, don’t worry too much about underwear and most of our dresses can be tried on without a bra if you feel comfortable doing so. You don’t need heels, unless you have already purchased your chosen wedding shoes – as we do love to see them.
